Elite Thoroughbreds purchased and syndicated a lovely filly by Commands at last years Magic Millions National sale and her patient owners are set to be rewarded in the near future.
Davone Princess was always going to make a nice 3 and 4 year old although has impressed trainer Gary Portelli in her 2 educational trials as a two year old.
She is an average track worker but seems to put it all together when it counts, said Gary Portelli after her fast finishing 3rd at Fridays Randwick trial. She is not meant to be doing this as a two year old but she is. She has a big motor and is a promising filly. We will give her a break to help her further strengthen and she will come back for the Spring a bigger, stronger filly.
Davone Princess was purchased for $40,000 from the Widden Stud draft. She has a full brother racing in Singapore who has already notched up a win in 2010.
